Miniature Turkish silk Hereke Ozipek prayer rug, 22 x 22 knotting, featuring a design of a vase flanked by columns on a dark red field with floral border. Secondary colors of ivory, teal, gold, and green. Paper Ozipek label with dimensions 19 cm x 28 cm, medium, origin, numbering, and illegible artist's signature, en verso of rug. Belle Meade Framer's sticker label, en verso of frame. Housed and hinge mounted with red velvet mat in a giltwood frame. Sight: 14" H x 7 7/8" W. Frame: 21 5/8" H x 15 3/8" W. Purchased in Turkey 2013. Copy of certificate available to winning bidder.
