Four (4) scarce Mississippi coin silver spoons, stamped J.D. ANDERSON VICKSBURG (James D. Anderson, working Vicksburg, MS, prior 1844-1849) with crowned leopard and bust pseudohallmarks, fiddle tipt and fin pattern, monogrammed CVS. 5 7/8" L, 2.3 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: By descent in a Southern family to present consignor.
CONDITION: Two 1/8" tears to base of bowl on one spoon, other three spoons in excellent condition.
