Two Grand Tour parcel-gilt bronze sculptures including: a representation of “Napoleon’s Column” with a reversible figural Napoleon or single candle holder finial, 14 1/4″ H; and a gilt bronze and black marble colonnade or temple with goddess sculpture to the center, 10 1/2″ H. Both last half 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of John Z. C. Thomas, Knoxville, TN.
CONDITION: Monument bronze finial with slight bending, otherwise overall good condition. Temple in overall good condition with scattered fleabites to marble base.
