Limoges platters in graduating sizes, featuring hand-painted scenes of various wildlife, with scalloped corner edges and gilt highlights; each marked on underside “H&Co L France”. Includes: One (1) large platter with a stag in the center, with a mint green border in addition to the gilt rim, 18 1/2″ L x 12″ D x 2″ H; Two (2) medium sized platters, one with a pair of ducks, the other with a pair of antlered deer or elk, 12 1/2″ L x 8 1/4″ D x 1 1/2″ H; and one (1) small platter featuring a pair of rabbits, 10 1/2″ L x 7″ D x 1 1/4″ H.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection.
CONDITION: All in very good condition, slight gilt rubbing to edges.
