1st Item: Royal Doulton handled pitcher, decorated with a blue and white background and unusual shield inscribed “There’s a Saying old and musty yet it’s ever new tis never trouble trouble til trouble troubles you.” “Royal Doulton / England” blue backstamp, 8 3/4″ H. ca. early 20th C. 2nd Item: English salt glaze stoneware tobacco jar with cover, themed with relief-molded monkeys smoking pipes; cover is topped by a weathered-faced man button finial. Unmarked. 6 1/2″ H, 5″ D. ca. early 20th C.
CONDITION: Pitcher is in Very Good overall condition; Jar with 1/4 chip inside rim, finial with clean reattached break.
