Yellow polychrome wash to top margin. Unsigned. 15 1/4 in. H x 13 1/4 in. W. 2nd item: Colored sculpted sand plaque depicting the torso of a woman with her hands behind head. Inset into a wood frame and fitted with hanging hardware en verso. Unsigned. Plaque: 13 1/4 in. H x 11 3/4 in. W. Framed: 14 1/2 in. H x 13 in. W. 3rd item: Abstract wood sculpture composed of three carved blocks of unfinished wood joined by a center iron rod. The segments rotatable to create varying forms. Unsigned. 41 3/4 in. H x 13 in. W x 5 in. D.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Lawrence Wolfe, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition. Item 1 with minor abrasions to frame edges and perimeter. Item 2 with shrinkage fissures noted to right front side of plaque and en verso. Item 3 with natural age cracks and irregularities to wood; a few tiny paint splatters.
