Six (6) Neo-Classical sterling silver column style candlesticks, all with weighted bases, including one (1) Gorham, four (4) Tiffany and Company retailed, and 1 Mauser, all having Corinthian capitals with removable bobeches, stop-fluted shafts, and stepped square weighted bases. Gorham candlestick converts into a four-arm candelabra, both pieces with maker's marks, sterling, and numerals, bobeches stamped sterling. Tiffany and Company pieces hallmarked for Sheffield, England, 1958, with mark T & Co; retailed by Tiffany & Co. Additionally marked Sterling — Made in England with Crown hallmark to undersides of bases. Mauser candlestick with maker's mark, Sterling, and additional numerals to underside of base. Ranging from 6 1/2" H x 3 1/2" square to 18 3/8" H x 12" W x 12" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with normal surface wear. Gorham candlestick with repair to circumference of capital, one bobeche with 1/8" x 1/2" area of loss to base, one bobeche is stuck. Mauser candlestick column slightly off center, scattered dents to base.
