Style of Emile Galle (France, 1846-1904) glazed faience cat with glass paperweight eyes and yellow body with blue and white heart, circle, and cross decorations. Inscribed “E. Galle / Nancy” in blue, underglaze, to underside. 12 7/8″ H x 10 1/2″ W x 6″ D.
PROVENANCE: A Nashville, Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: Scattered crazing, 2 tiny abrasions to paw, otherwise very good condition.
