Two (2) antique brass desk items and 1 oil lamp. 1st item: Rococo style Inkstand or Standish with handle and central candle holder on a scalloped base. 7″H x 7″ W x 6 1/2″D. 2nd item: Neoclassical style Inkstand or Standish with central bell and two candle arms, fluted and beaded base. 7 1/2″H x 9″W x 6″D. Both items likely Continental, late 18th to early 19th century. 3rd item: Small brass oil lamp stand with four wick holes, on a turned circular base, with openwork handle, 9″H. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: By descent in the historic Pinckney family of Runnymede Plantation, South Carolina.
CONDITION: All items showing signs of wear and oxidation. 2nd item lacks handle, bell lacks ringer. Lamp is partially incomplete and has a small loss to one wick hole.
