Three decorative spelter sculptures including a pair of cherubs after Auguste Moreau, one figure holding a bird, the other holding an arrow, 13″ H, together with a spelter figure of a warrior astride a galloping horse and yielding an axe, 14″ H X 11″ W x 4″ D. All circa 1900.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned by the Metal Museum, Memphis, Tennessee (formerly known as the National Ornamental Metal Museum).
CONDITION: All with oxidation. Wear to bronze patina on the Moreau cherubs. Warrior’s axe handle is bent and horse is missing a foot.
