Group of three (3) carved and painted duck decoys including one (1) Upper Chesapeake Bay area canvasback decoy with Joel Boone Pusey brand, and a pair of early Wildfowler Decoy Company (Saybrook, Conn) duck decoys, mallard and hen, with circular Wildfowler Saybrook Conn. brand to each base. Ranging in size from 7 1/2" H x 15 1/2" L to 8" H x 15 1/4" L. All ducks 1st half 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Retains the original paint. Scattered losses, wear, and wood shrinkage. 2nd & 3rd items: Both retain the original paint with scattered light wear and rubbing to surface. Hen with possible old repair to neck.
