1st item: Sitzendorf porcelain mantel clock with stand having polychrome floral encrusted decoration throughout, gilt rocaille scrolling highlights, and four garment-draped putti framing a gilt brass clock face. Blue maker's mark stamped to underside of clock and stand; marked "West Germany" to clockface. Overall: 12 3/4" H x 9 3/4" W x 5 3/4" D. German, mid 20th century. 2nd-3rd items: Pair (2) Chelsea polychrome floral encrusted porcelain candlesticks with rocaille scrolling gilt highlights, each having a kneeling cupid reaching through a floral wreath holding a feather or a flaming heart with quiver and arrows lying next to them on a shell and rocaille form base. Maker's mark to lower rear of base; tradesman's mark to underside. 11" H x 5" W x 4 1/2" D. English, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Repair to upper putto's left arm with corresponding retouching, scattered breaks to flower petals. Clock and stand with later added felt pads to undersides. 2nd-3rd items: Scattered repairs to foliate form. Scattered minor surface residue.
