Chinese silk court robe, dark navy ground with multi-colored embroidered designs including circular floral medallions to top, wave, precious object and floral decoration to the lower body, and floral decoration to the sleeves. Interior lined with robin's egg blue silk. 36 3/4" H x 48 1/2" W (w/ arms extended). Early 20th century. Private East Tennessee collection. Condition: Exterior in overall very good condition with light wear. Interior with scattered stains, mostly to the under arm area and neck.
