Two (2) Chinese bronze taotie mask door knockers, one (1) with calligraphy to perimeter of face and knocker, both mounted under glass in a dark stained shadowbox frame. Knockers approximately: 8" H x 6" W and 5" H x 5" W. Framed: 31 1/2" H x 22 3/4" W. 20th century. Provenance: Private Nashville collection, acquired during travels in China. Condition: Overall very good condition. Minor oxidation to bronze; frame with some small scratches and abrasions/wear.
