Antique and Art Appraisals
Case Antiques Inc. is the only auction company in Tennessee with two nationally accredited personal property appraisers on staff. We offer fine art and antique appraisals for estate, insurance and charitable donation purposes. Our appraisers have successfully completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Practice (USPAP) course and exam, and our appraisal reports are produced in compliance with USPAP. Appraisal fees are calculated on an hourly basis and include personal examination, research and report writing. Note that auction estimates are not the same as, nor are they to be considered, Appraisal Reports.

Past appraisals include donations of art and antiques to the Knoxville Museum of Art, The Hermitage (Nashville), and Belmont Mansion (Nashville); insurance appraisals for art and antiques being loaned to the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (North Carolina), the Newington-Cropsey Foundation (New York), the Tennessee State Museum (Nashville) and Two Rivers Mansion (Nashville); and estate appraisals for the Glen Leven Plantation estate (Nashville) and numerous private individuals.

Knoxville art and antiques appraisals: John Case is the owner and President of Case Antiques, Inc. with over 20 years of experience researching and evaluating American antiques and art, with a specialization in early Southern decorative arts. John is a member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) with specialization in the following categories:

Sarah is an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) with accreditation in the following categories:
