John Case, member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), and Sarah Campbell Drury, accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course this past fall and passed the examination. USPAP is published and maintained by the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) of the Appraisal Foundation, a non-governmental entity charged by Congress with promulgating appraisal standards. These are the generally accepted standards for professional appraisal practice in the United States. Although both had taken and passed the course previously, a re-examination is required every five years so appraisers can stay current with USPAP updates and changes.
