Thirteen ivory, vegetable ivory, bone, and steel sewing or needlework implements, including two pincushions in the form of chairs, a "church window" needlecase, pin holder, punches, and sewing clamp. Condition: deterioration to silkcushions, small area of loss to rear of one chair, clamp has loose elements. Height of chairs: 3", clamp: 4-1/2". Late 19th to early 20th century. Provenance: estate of Isabel Pessick, Ames, Iowa.
