Asian, possibly Tibetan sculpture of the Buddhist protector deity Vajrapani, gilt bronze with copper wash, depicted standing on an oval platform and holding a thunderbolt in the raised right hand and rope in the left. Gilt paint to body, gilt pigment to face and areas with copper wash. 6"H x 5"W. Chinese, 18th century. Provenance: the estate of Mrs. Adna Godfrey Wilde, Jr. (Sara Joan Wilde), Colorado Springs, CO. Condition: Overall very good condition with expected overall general wear.
