Marked on underside in banner "Walton" (John Walton, working Burslem, Staffordshire, late 18th to early 19th century). 9-1/2"H. Provenance: estate of Elsie Seabrook, Tunica, MS. Condition: Scattered glaze chips. Firing flaw/crack to subject's left arm above elbow. Black light reveals some repainting and possible restoration to hat.
