Two William Malherbe charcoal and pencil drawings (American, 1884 – 1951). 1st charcoal drawing depicts two female nudes, signed lower left corner, "W. M.". Condition – overall very good condition, not examined out of frame. Sight 15-3/4"H x 19-3/4"W; frame 20" H x 24" W. Early 20th century. 2nd item – pencil drawing of male embracing the actress, Rita Gam. Inscription on back of the drawing, "Gam c/o Malherbe". Condition – some toning. Sight 11-3/4" H x 8-3/4" W; framed 16" H x 13" W. Note – William Malherbe exhibited at the Salon d’Automne and Galerie Durand-Ruet in Paris. He also exhibited at the Corcoran in Washington D.C.
