Continental embroidered textile, possibly a table runner, silk needlework on homespun linen with six flowering and budding bushes, executed in a variety of stitches with a chevron border. Fringed edges on 2 sides. Some flower clusters have what may be later red outline thread. Floated in a pine frame with green fabric covered edges. Likely 18th century. 26" x 21" , 29" x 34-1/2" framed. Condition: 1/4" stain to ground in branch area of one bush, overall even discoloration to ground and general, even fading.
