Group of 6 Southern stoneware pottery items including one (1) Middle TN wide mouth jug with an incised line upper shoulder, strap handle and buff grey glaze (8 3/4" H); one (1) two-handled Middle TN jar with buff orange glaze exterior, alkaline glaze interior and two elongated pulled handles (9 1/2" H); one (1) squat form two-handled Middle TN jar with buff brown glaze and pulled handles (6" H); two (2) Middle TN stoneware bowls, one with slightly flaring rim (3 1/2" H x 6" dia. & 3 1/4" H x 6 1/4" dia.); and one (1) small stoneware jug, probably North Carolina, with tapered rim, strap handle and dark alkaline glaze (6" H). All pieces late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Private Warren County, TN collection. CONDITION: Hairline crack to handle of largest jug, scattered fleabites to underside of miniature rim. Other pieces very good condition.
