Two (2) Ted Burnett (American/Tennessee, 1908-1982) works on paper. 1st item: Abstract pen and ink and watercolor titled "Ol' Cabin in the Pines". Depicts a white shack in a forest setting. Signed "Ted Burnett" lower right of image. Includes matte but unframed. Sight – 11 7/8" H x 16 3/8" W. Matted – 19" H x 23 1/2" W. 2nd item: Abstract watercolor of a red and white cabin in a forest setting. Signed and dated "Burnett 68" lower left of image. Unframed. 11 3/4" H x 16 3/4" W. Biography (Courtesy Village Fine Arts): Ted Burnett was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and studied at the Chicago Art Institute and Eliot OíHara Watercolor School in Maine. Tedís many awards included the Hallmark International Award, Nashville Arts Festival Purchase Prize, Art Association of New Orleans Watercolor Prize, Tennessee Valley Art Association Reynolds Metal Award, the Birmingham Art Association Jury Exhibition Award, and the Dixie Museum Purchase Prize. He was included in numerous museum and gallery exhibits nationwide. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall excellent condition. 2nd item: Some slight scattered tears to paper edges, errant watercolor and pencil marks on edges.
