Chicago.Ó Note: this lantern was reportedly used on a small Mississippi River steamboat. 2nd item: Marine Lantern with colorless fresnel lens, British, circa 1945; galvanized steel and glass, 24-3/4Ó high (overall) x 11-7/8Ó high (lamp only) x 7-5/8Ó wide x 8Ó deep. Has a galvanized steel kerosene burner stamped ÒBEC 1945.Ó Bears a stamped label of the Birmingham Engineering Company. Condition: 1st item: Some exterior corrosion and dents, minute nick to edge of glass. 2nd item: Slight to moderate exterior corrosion.
