Oil on canvas still life depicting various fruits on a table top, in bowl and in cornucopia together with two pink roses in a bud vase. Signed and dated "Mayella Painyer (or Ella Pointer) '08" lower right. Housed in decoratve gilt gold frame. Sight – 16 1/4" H x 22 1/4" W. Framed – 24 1/4" H x 29 3/4" W. Early 20th century. Provenance: Private Belle Meade (Nashville) Tennessee collection. CONDITION: 1 1/4" tear to canvas, upper left quadrant. Old stretcher marks across top and right side of canvas. Scattered surface grime.
