1st item: Carved stone head fragment of figure wearing a crown or headdress, 3-1/4"H. Note: acquired from Ikari Oriental Objects of Art in New York in 1974, which attributed it to China, Tang Dynasty, 618-707 AD. 2nd item: Chinese strand of celadon jade beads with dragon head clasp, 19-1/2" overall. Early to mid 20th century. Provenance: The collection/estate of Mr. and Mrs. W. Jeter Eason, Memphis, by descent to present consignor. CONDITION: 1st item: Wear and losses at nose/mouth area, old 1" chip to headdress. 2nd item: Excellent condition.
