Enrique Alferez (TX/LA, 1901-1999), graphite drawing of a female sitting nude, touching her toes. 14-1/2" x 10-1/4" sight, 16" x 12" framed. Provenance: Inherited by consignor from Rosa Rainold Graner, 1904 – 1962, who graduated from Newcomb School of Art in 1926, specialist in ceramic sculpture, awarded the title of Master Craftsman (work was done under her married name, Rai Graner Murray). Murray also studied sculpture with Enrique Alferez beginning in 1933. CONDITION: Patch to paper at upper right corner, some small minor discoloration spots to background and margins.
