Group of 3 Chinese silk embroideries. 1st item: Framed silk embroidery of bird perched in flowering tree with an embroidered floral silk border, Sight: 27" H x 18" W, Frame: 31-1/2" H x 22" W. 2nd item: Framed silk and gilt thread embroidery of various vases with flowers, peaches and jars with a damask border, Sight: 22-5/8" H x 12" W, gilt bamboo frame: 22-3/4" H x 22-1/4" W. 3rd item: Framed silk and gilt thread embroidery of two dragons chasing flaming pearl above waves and other good luck symbols in background, outlined with a damask border, Sight: 12-1/8" H x 24-1/4" W, bronze gilt bamboo frame: 13-1/4" H x 25-5/8" W. All items late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Estate of Mrs. Mary Ann Bowers Thomas, Athens, Alabama. CONDITION: 1st item: Good condition. 2nd item: Damask border worn. Slight losses to gilt thread. 3rd item: Possible slight fading to colors.
