1st item: Carved Chinese ivory snuff bottle, round shaped cylindrical form having allover carved foo dog and lingzhi decoration and green hardstone cap. Ancient Chinese character marks to base. 3" H. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item: Carved Chinese ivory junk boat with figures, mounted on a hardwood stand. 1 7/8" H x 3 1/2" W. Third quarter of the 20th century. 3rd item: Carved Chinese ivory lotus blossom mounted as a brooch. 1 1/8" H x 2" W. Second quarter of the 20th century. Provenance: Descended from the collection of Thomas and Pamela Woodley of Long Island, NY and FL. Mr. Woodley was an electrical engineer who traveled worldwide over a period of approximately 20 years. Areas of collecting interest included Asian and Far Eastern decorative items.
