Two (2) 18th century engravings emblematic for two months of the year, June and September, each with images of harvesters in landscape settings, with verses below. The September print features the grape harvest, while the June print depicts subjects dancing in celebration of the harvest. Source unknown; rare. Printed by Robert Sayer, London, mid 1800s. Housed in later giltwood frames with printed vine and berry decoration. 10 1/4" x 14 1/4" sight, 20" x 24" framed. Provenance: Estate of Delle Brown, Murfreesboro, TN. CONDITION: Toning and scattered foxing. Not examined out of frame.
