1ST ITEM: The Aborigines of North America lithograph from Kelly's Atlas, 1882, depicting Crow, Iroquois, Assineboin, Pawnee Woman, Dakota or Sioux Warrior, etc. Framed in a contemporary molded wood frame. Image 7 3/4" x 4 3/4", framed 12 1/2" x 14 1/2". 2ND ITEM: Lithograph after George Catlin (American, 1796-1872, numbered #167 (scene of Native Americans on horseback). Label on back from states it is from Catlin's North American Indian Portfolio, #167, ; however, Catlin's famous book was published in 1844 and the plates from it are a larger size than this one. Probably a later reproduction. 7" x 5 1/2" sight. 3RD ITEM: Colored lithograph "Africa: A man of quality in Congo, Carried in His Hammock" published by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown, Oct 1, 1815. Burl frame with diamond inlaid border. Sight: 3 3/4" H x 5 1/8" W, Framed: 13" H" x 14 1/2" W. Provenance: Estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: 1ST ITEM: Overall very good condition with minor toning and grime atop glass. 2ND ITEM: Excellent. 3RD ITEM: Light toning and a few minor creases.
