Group of three (3) Asian porcelain items. 1st item: Large Japanese blue and white charger with with landscape decoration. One scene depicts a cottage by the sea next to a tree and a large wave and hills in the distance, the other scene depicts a part of a shishi-odoshi (bamboo water fountain) in front of foliage, two areas of blue and white floral patterns left and right. Unmarked. 2 1/2" H x 16 1/2" dia. 19th century. 2nd item: Blue and white Canton plate with reticulated rim, decorated with Asian scenes. Marked "China" verso. 1 5/8" H x 11 1/2" W. Early 20th century. 3rd item: Chinese blue and white pillow decorated with Foo Lions or Dogs and xiu qiu balls and yarn in white quatrefoils, surrounded by floral motif, bordered by key pattern left and right sides. Open-work 'cash' design motif at one end, oval opening with blue floral decorations at other end. Two Chinese character marks, lower left both sides under Foo Lions or Dogs. 4 3/4" H x 5" W x 2 1/2" D. Early 20th century. Provenance: Estate of James J. Allen, Knoxville, TN.
