Pair of bronze animal sculptures, including McClelland Barclay. 1st item: McClelland Barclay (American, 1897-1943) two-piece bronze sculpture comprised of a tiny frog inside a larger leaf. Leaf signed "McClelland Barclay" on exterior side. Frog – 1" L, leaf – 1 3/4" H x 5 1/2" L x 4" D. 2nd item: Small signed Japanese bronze figural grouping of three turtles swimming in a pond. Engraved Japanese character mark on underside. 3 1/2" diameter. Both items early to mid 20th century. Provenance: a Nashville, TN estate. CONDITION: Both items with oxidation and green patination.
