Chinese or Japanese baluster form lamp, having a crackle-glazed porcelain body decorated with fine polychrome raised slip-enameled basket of flowers. Moriage rim with raised gilt fret design at neck. Gilt bronze or brass mountings. 21"H (not including shade support). Early to mid 20th century. Provenance the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Lamp is functional. Overall very good condition with 1" long glaze imperfection near center (by leaves).
