Pair Chinese covered baluster form ceramic urns, hexagonal sides decorated with panels precious objects, auspicious symbols and flying cranes, interspersed with vignettes of figures in landscapes and court settings. Apocryphal Tao Kuang mark to underside. Carved hardwood stands. 20"H, 22" H including stands. Chinese, 20th century. Provenance the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Small glaze pop to one vase on shoulder and wear to one finial. Some surface losses to both hardwood stands.
