German Black Forest carved oak wall clock, heavily carved case with bird, vines, leaves and berries. Face with black and white enamel Roman numerals (VIII is missing) and brass hands. Clock works marked Martie et Cie, Medaille de Bronze and impressed "48". (some parts missing). 34" H x 23 1/2" W x 4 1/2" D. Clock is in two parts, works are separated from case, due to missing glass cover. Late 19th/early 20th century. CONDITION: Case in overall very good condition. One small break at lower edge of berry swag. Small abrasions to bird wing tips and split in outside molding around clock face at 6 o'clock.
