Southern or Mid-Atlantic red stained blanket chest, dovetailed with ogee bracket feet. Interior till and original rat tail hinges. Poplar with white pine bottom board and till. Overall good condition with partial replacement to rear right leg facing, some old wear to feet with minor repairs. Water stain underside of lid around one hinge. 25" H x 48-1/2" W x 22" D. American. 1st quarter of 19th century.
