4 Handmade Middle Tennessee quilts. 1st item: Appliqued quilt in the Drunkard's Path or Solomon's Puzzle pattern, featuring polkadotted mulberry cotton on embroidered white cotton ground. Several small stains and some edge fraying. 81" x 67". Sumner County, circa 1910. 2nd item: Embroidered quilt with large center block of embroidered paisley-style printed design, surrounded by border with 7 embroidered stripes and a black cross stitch design border. Large strip of fading to center, some fraying at edges. 82-1/2" x 54". Middle Tennessee, possibly African American, circa 1930. 3rd item: Pieced and embroidered quilt in a four-pointed star pattern with printed patches on a solid blue ground with green backing. Few tears at seams and scattered small stains to back. Sumner or Lincoln County, circa 1930. 80" x 78". 4th item: Pieced quilt in a one patch pattern variation with floral patchwork design and twelve solid red blocks. Very good condition, 78" x 62".
