1st item: Gilt mounted porcelain cup or small vase, yellow ground with 2 central vignettes depicting a harbor scene with figures, the interior decorated with gilt-painted Neoclassical style swags. Sits atop a gilded bronze or metal base with bead and laurel design. Sticker on bottom for Nicholas Hayden, Palm Beach. 3-1/8"H. 2nd item (2 pcs.): Pair of small porcelain cobalt painted scent bottles, each with central hand painted landscape vignette, surrounded by decorative gilt trim with gilt painted finial. Handpainted crown and and number marks to undersides. 5-1/4"H. 3rd item: Lavender porcelain candy compote, circular form, with gilded metal basketweave frame at ring and footring, unmarked. 3"H x 7" diameter. All items probably French, possibly Old Paris, 19th century. Provenance: the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Porcelain candy dish interior and lids of scent bottles have some wear to gilt trim. All other items otherwise in excellent condition.
