East Tennessee PBS TV and Case Antiques, Inc. Auctions & Appraisals have scheduled the next Appraisal Fair for Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Historic Cherokee Mills Building, 2240 Sutherland Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37919. The event will start at 10am and end at 3pm. Reservations are not required.
Cost for appraisals are: 5 items for $60 ($12 each), 3 items for $40 ($13.33 each) or 1 item for $15.
Appraisal tickets are purchased at the event with proceeds benefitting East Tennessee PBS.
Coordinated by Case Antiques, the appraisal fair pairs attendees with area experts who can estimate what their items are worth. Guests may consider bringing pottery, fine and folk art, furniture, textiles, silver, jewelry, rugs, Native American, Civil War items, and rare books. Bring photos of large items on smart phones, Tablets or printed copies. Be sure to photo any markings and signatures and the front, back and bottom of the item, if possible.
