Case to sponsor TN Decorative Arts Symposium at Belmont Mansion April 20-21, 2012 Sarah Drury to speak

Case Antiques Inc. Auctions & Appraisals will be a sponsor of the 3rd Annual Tennessee Decorative Arts Symposium, to be held Saturday, April 21, at Belmont Mansion in Nashville. Sarah Campbell Drury, Case’s Vice President of Decorative Arts, is also among the speakers. Drury, along with Dr. Benjamin H. Caldwell Jr. and Marsha Mullin will present “Collector in Chief: The Silver of Andrew Jackson”. Caldwell is a noted collector and author of Tennessee Silversmiths. Mullin is Vice President of Collections at The Hermitage, Home of President Andrew Jackson. Other speakers include Sumpter Priddy III, George Webb Jr. speaking on The Rarest Tennessee Books and Documents, and Rick Warwick speaking on The Female Artists of Williamson County. A VIP pre-symposium evening reception will be held at the Hermitage on Friday, April 20 at 6:30 PM.
